The Quiet

The Quiet In "The Quiet," Dot, played by Camilla Belle, is amazingly beautiful. She is also a deaf and orphaned teenager. After her dad died in a car accident, she was sent to live with her godparents, whose daughter is hostile. But that's not the only grief she has to deal with, she soon discover more dark secrets.

I feel Belle's beauty is astonishing. Her never smiled face in the film shows the irresistible attractiveness, maybe due to the boyish look with the sadness in her eyes. I really enjoy her performance; even I am a little disappointed by the script. Some of the characters are interesting, but they need some more work by getting rid of the cliché. It's not a feel good film, but also not an engrossing art house film.

My rating: 6 out of 10.
