The OH in Ohio
It's simply a little over the top, despite some of the strong performance. Again, the problem is the script. It tries to do anything to make a cheap laugh. I giggled couple times, not because it's funny, but because of its silliness. However, I do like the character of the school teacher, Chase's husband. But the film stops short on exploring this character, because the film was trying so hard to develop a romantic comedy element between Priscilla Chase and Danny DeVito. I think that's actually the biggest joke of this "comedy." My rating: 4 out of 10. |
